11th Annual Mud-Duck Race at the 2005 Dunnville Mudcat Festival.
Each year the Rotary Club of Dunnville pours thousands of plastic ducks just like the ones you remember playing with in the bathtub into the Grand River for their annual Mud-Duck Race. We were there with a big outdoor sound system and our high-energy enthusiasm helping to raise money for local community projects.

Dad is helping out this time, but watch out for the guys in the river cooling off and helping recover the ducks!

Just in time to see the duck launched with unimaginable speed!

Everyone has a try at the duck-a-pult. As you can see, some people really go for distance!

Thousands of yellow plastic ducks are racing for the finish - if you look carefully, you can actually see some moving faster than others! At the top right of the picture is the floating Duck-a-Pult target. What's playing over the sound system? Duck-themed music of course!

Bob waves the checkered flag as the winning ducks scramble into the "winner's cage." We call out their corresponding ticket numbers to the onlooking crowd and thank everyone for helping support their community.
